I look around each day with a clean-slate on my mind. I force myself to look at things, regardless of whether I have learned a lesson about such situations, with a tinted lens of newness.
I don't really know if there's more to that thought than that. I think it was just a thought and now it's gone. Thoughts tend to flee like that.

What a refreshing way to look at the world! On a less refreshing note, "clean slate" would have no hyphen. (I just couldn't help myself, after watching all that school house rock grammar clips.)
